As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God's varied grace.  1 Peter 4:10

We are called to be good stewards of God’s creation, to care for the gifts given to us, to share the time, talent and treasure we have received. Our parish community believes it is important to give back to God, and to create a proper home for His people to gather and worship. The committees listed here do this, they work to build our resources that we may better serve our people, care for our buildings and grounds, and plan for our future needs.

The Council for Financial Affairs (CFA)

Canon law requires each parish to have a Council for Financial Affairs. This council provides financial and operational support to the Pastor by assisting him in the development and management of the parish’s financial resources so that the parish may more effectively pursue its mission of spreading Christ’s gospel and love.

The council meets monthly to review parish finances, and to advise the pastor on the proper management of contributions. Our fiscal year is July 1-June 30th, at the end of each fiscal year a financial report is filed with the Diocese of Metuchen. A summary of this report is shared with parishioners each fall.

If you have any questions, or would like to assist in the mission of this council, you may contact the chairperson, Dave Grant 609 452 0883

Building Committee

The building committee was formed following the repair of our parish church. This committee serves our parish by overseeing the conditions of our building and grounds, and planning for their proper maintenance and repair. This committee works with the CFA and Long Range Planning Committee to insure that the parish community of Queenship of Mary will always have a proper home in which to gather and praise the Lord.

Long Range Planning Committee

This committee works in conjunction with the CFA and the Building Committee to assess the long range needs of our parish community. We are looking at population trends, as well as parish and building size and condition, to anticipate and prepare for future growth. Through our work, it is hoped that we will continue to properly support our people and be the genuine community of faith, worship and service we strive to be.
